Yes and No! We use the long-standing relationships with our preferred vendors to leverage the best prices for you. We price your items to be competitive with retail, when possible, and take excellent care of our customers during the process - this means ordering, shipping, receiving, management, inspection, white glove delivery & installment are included in the price of your items.

A minimum of one full room design is required.

We will do our best to estimate a timeline based on your specific project, but of course, you can’t put an arbitrary timeline on interior design projects. Some take days, others take months, and then some projects could take a year or more to complete, depending on how many phases of the process are involved and how detailed the designs are. However, our promise to you is that we will provide updates along the way and we will be here should you have any questions.

When meeting with us for the first time, it's important to come somewhat prepared. Bring any ideas or inspiration that you have for your project, such as photos, drawings, color swatches, and fabric samples. List of any decisions that have already been made (anyone else that has been hired, any pieces that you hope to keep). But really, just be ready to have some fun! We love what we do and we want to pass that joy onto you!

During each phase of the process there will be set meetings for in depth conversations to take place. Outside of those meetings, you will receive weekly email communication about your project. Of course if something is needed you are welcome to set up a meeting or a phone call, we just ask that you email us with a list of topics to be discussed so we can be prepared and efficient with your time.

Remember, we are building a relationship through this entire process - start to finish! From the very beginning we are having intentional conversations and taking notes. We will also have you complete an extensive design questionnaire (Don’t worry! It is nothing to be scared of and can definitely be filled out over a glass of wine!) which will allow us to get into the nitty gritty of things you like and don't like. We will also present a conceptual design before we even begin selecting specific pieces for your project.

You will! - but if you don’t, we provide one round of revisions. We ask that you share all of your input at one time so that we can make edits as efficiently as possible. Revisions can add time to the project depending on the scale of the revision.

US! Builders build, Architects lay it out, Furniture stores sell; but we have the overall eye for the experience. What is going to make you love the home you have put your time and effort into? We pour over the details that make all the difference so your home feels cohesive and beautiful.

Imagine baking a cake and having someone else trying to add ingredients at the last minute or frosting it in a style that isn't in keeping with the original intent. The cake won't be as the baker, or in this case the interior designer intended. It's tempting to do your own shopping to save money, but in the end, we find that it costs our client in scale and quality mistakes which means they end up buying items twice and experiencing frustration from the extra costs. If you prefer to do your own purchasing, we may not be the right designer for you as we offer full interior design services.

Is there something special in your room that just says "you" that you would really love to keep? During your design consultation, make a point to let us know and we will discuss how to best incorporate that item into your new design.

Generally, shopping is not the most efficient way to work with your designer. Our experience has shown us that the key idea of working with an interior designer is to have one person steering the ship. This lets the original design vision be executed seamlessly, effectively in a way that is truly service oriented for the client.

Typically we do not go store-to-store to shop for furniture pieces as they come from our manufacturers and vendors typically located outside of the DFW area. We attend designers markets multiple times a year to see and touch products in person and “sit test” them out for you! Certain exceptions may be made if there is a showroom around for you to try it out, but this is not standard. We do however bring in samples of the fabrics, woods, etc for you to see in person.

We are located in the North Dallas area and love to serve our neighboring communities but we also LOVE to travel! Wherever you are, we can be too!

We have preferred trades and contractors that we work with on a regular basis that allow us to complete projects more effectively and seamlessly. If you do have your own contractor or tradesmen, we will work with them, but we can not guarantee their level of work or the process with those outside sources.
